I haven't been on deviantART in ages - more than a year and a day - but when I logged in today, I saw a horde of comments on my two stories. It's sort of heartwarming to see that people are still reading (and re-reading, apparently!) the stories I wrote freshman year. I'm about to graduate now, and in four years at Vassar, I don't think I've written anything that tops those ... nothing in science fiction, anyway, and the "non-genre" pieces I've written for class aren't anything to write home about. I miss all those Massachusetts folk. I think I had a dream about some of you last night, but I'm not sure. So I'm coming home on Saturday.
Also, on the 25th, I'll be in Boston at the Porcupine Tree concert. It'll be amazing! I don't know the opening act this time, but I'm looking forward to the show. The exquisite (and relevant) new album is on iTunes, so if your record store doesn't carry it, you have no excuse. Learn the lyrics quickly, before the show!
